My kid is out of school today due to the weather. It’s 3 a.m. and already at the high temp of 32. It’s raining outside and supposed to change to snow. If you’ve never been to North Texas, let me just say, we’re not the best drivers in icy/snowy weather.

belove thank you for the support and good luck with your kid. also all of the child's guardians must share the same views and be on the same side.when dealing with kids keep them out of grownup situations and watch what you say around them. if one cannot agree with all on how to take care, supervise, and deal with child then that person needs to take a hike. you don't need negativity in a situation like this. you need disciplne when bad and rewards when good. can't mix both. good luck sweetheart!

Belove48, my comment wasn't geared towards you....it was the comments following yours. Although I'm personally straight, I find your perspective interesting and educational. I personally think there are more healthy and happy gay parents then there are traditional. The mere fact that they have to desire parenthood SO strongly and work so hard to become one. The gay couples who shouldn't parent, don't want to. lol There are a few too many straight couples that have children without much thought at all. I hope you don't mind me following your thoughts a bit. :)
